What Sets the Kellogg EMBA Program Apart

  • Two Locations: You can take class twice a month on the Evanston, IL, campus or once a month on the Miami, FL, campus. And whether you want to start in January or September, you will finish in two years. (Details vary on the schedules at the two campuses.)
  • Miami: The Miami campus is infused with Latin American flavor and the bustle of the global commerce taking place in the city, affording students exposure to the contacts and network of Latin American corporations and business leaders.
  • The Academic Core: Kellogg’s academic core encompasses accounting, finance, organizations, strategy, economics, and marketing, giving the Kellogg student-professional the substance they need to rise to the next level, wherever they will be going. Also offered are advanced courses in the same fields but exploring topics in greater depth. A rich menu of electives rounds out the palette.
  • Emerging Markets Courses: The newest suite of electives offered in the Kellogg Executive MBA Program, these project-based courses examine trends and issues in emerging markets, with visits to the regions, opportunities to study at local universities, meet with area business leaders, and visit the local businesses. New this year are a TechVenture to India, a social impact study session in South Africa, and an opportunity to explore building tech ecosystems in Latin America.
  • Global Network: Kellogg EMBA students benefit from the Kellogg EMBA Global Network, with opportunities to study at Kellogg’s five premier partner institutions around the world (Toronto, Tel Aviv, Beijing, Hong Kong, and Vallendar). Students take global electives taught by international and regional experts, getting the chance to immerse themselves in global situations, measure the possibility of leading globally and having a global impact, and broaden their perspective.
  • Global Network Week: This annual weeklong event in August convenes students from the entire Executive MBA Global Network for a series of experiences that expose students to global business thinking and practices. Two main events are courses in negotiations and crisis management that place students in highly interactive settings to discuss, simulate, and manage global business situations and crises.
  • Test-Optional: The Kellogg Executive MBA does not require GMAT or Executive Assessment scores for most applicants. A GMAT score is required if you do not have a bachelor’s degree.
