The average salary and bonus for the Wharton full-time class of 2022 was $175,000, and 98.7% of students received job offers within three months of graduation.

Wharton reported a 22% acceptance rate for the class of 2025 (US News).

The Health Care Management major is very popular and provides yet another community within Wharton. Unlike other majors at Wharton, interested students must choose Health Care Management at the time of application to Wharton. The major integrates academic and professional development, helping students secure both summer and permanent positions.

2025 Wharton MBA Class Profile

The Wharton class of 2025 is made up of 874 students.

Those accepted to Wharton’s class of 2025 represent 70 different countries. 31% of these students are international, 50% identify as female, and 11% identify as LGBTQ+. Wharton believes that students are what make its community a dynamic learning environment. That said, the school selects applicants from various backgrounds who will bring unique perspectives to the classroom.

While the average work experience for Wharton students is 5 years, the school does not require a minimum or maximum years of experience to apply for an MBA. In fact, the class of 2025 had work experience spanning from 1 to 21 years. These students came from a variety of fields, some of the top industries being consulting, private equity/venture capital, and tech. 

Wharton accepts both GMAT and GRE scores, with no preference for either test. While there is no minimum required score, for reference, the average scores for the class of 2025 are as follows:

Joint/Dual Degrees Offered at Wharton


Wharton also offers joint and dual degrees for those interested in pursuing more than one academic discipline or area of expertise. These include:

  • MBA/MA Lauder Joint Degree in International Studies: This joint degree integrates Wharton’s MBA program with an MA in international studies from UPenn’s School of Arts & Sciences. The program is designed for students with a passion for international business. The 24-month program begins in May and students travel to a region which aligns with their studies during June and July. 
  • Carey JD/MBA Program: This dual degree program combines Wharton’s MBA program with UPenn’s law school. Students will earn both JD and MBA degrees in three years rather than the five it would usually take to earn each separately.
  • MBA in Heath Care Management: Wharton’s MBA in Health Care Management is one of the first and the leading program of its kind, focusing on health economics and management.
